Snow play

This week we are up at Mt Hotham so of course it's all about the snow play! There are so many different sensory experiences for children to have in the snow.

You can taste the snow

Or examine an icycle up close

You can listen to your boots make crunchy noises in the fresh snow

Or sink to your knees in the soft snow

You can even discover different tracks in the snow

Or build an igloo with Daddy (ok so it wasn't the world's best igloo but the kids had fun shovelling snow to make it!)

Make a snow man

Or slide over the snow in a tobaggan with Mummy

I think it's safe to say we are having lots of fun here at the snow ;)

I have NEVER been to the snow, and Princess is sitting here telling me all about the fun of snow, and then I read your post. *sigh* Will it ever happen?

Look like a great time was had :)

Those footprints in the snow... Ohh, love it. I imagine I can hear the crunch of the snow under foot, but of course I can't. 1) because I wasn't there and 2) because I've never been to the snow. It sure looks like fun.

I still have to wait about 6 months for snow again :) These pictures sure are refreshing. It's 99 degrees here this week! (in Missouri, USA)

@homeage, we love the snow and go each year! I didn't start going until I met my husband (he has been going to the snow since he was very little). You will have to go one day!

What fantastic fun, I am incredibly jealous, nothing remotely like snow on this side of the country!
