For Jacob's birthday earlier this year we made him a basket of felt vegetables. We decided to do a similar thing for Esme for her birthday and make her some felt fruit. It was a fairly labour intensive two weeks, with Chris and I spending most evenings sewing, but I'm glad we were able to do it. Both the kids love all the felt fruit and vegies and play with them for ages! My Dad made a toy kitchen for Esme for her birthday too (more on that later!) so the kids are having an absolute ball cooking up all sorts of concoctions and making us eat them!
